Prof. R. C. Kuhad, Member, Governing Board, INFLIBNET Centre

chapters and 4 books in the field of Microbiology. He is
the Member of Finance Committee, National
Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC), New
Delhi; General Council, National Council of
Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New
Delhi; and Planning Board, Hemchandracharya North
Gujarat University, Patan. He is the Chairman of Expert
Committee, Rai Technological University, Bangalore.
He is the recipient of many awards for his academic
achievement and national awards for Fellow of Biotech
Research Society of India (FBRS) and Fellow of National
Academy of Agricultural Sciences (FNAAS). He has
visited many countries including UK, Chile, USA, and
Italy. The Director and INFLIBNET staff welcomes him
as a new member to the Governing Board of the
INFLIBNET Centre.

We take this opportunity to thank out going members of
the Governing Board who have completed their terms
Prof. R. C. Kuhad is the Vice-Chancellor, Central
of five years.
University of Haryana since 16th April, 2015. He
completed M.Sc., M.Phil, and Ph.D (Microbiology).
Prof. Kuhad served as Joint Director, Institute of Life
Long Learning (ILLL) from 18th April 2012 to 16th April,
2015, Dean and Head, Faculty of Interdisciplinary and
Applied Sciences and Department of Microbiology
from 17th September 2005 to 16th September 2008 and
Professor, Department of Microbiology since 17th
September 2008 at University of Delhi South Campus,
New Delhi. He has more than 29 years of teaching
experience and more than 32 years of research
experience. He published 133 research articles in
National and International Journals and published 12
